Design and Installation Service...

...for exhibitions, conferences and museums.  Interactive Fly-through exhibits, Talking Head figures and theatrical lighting effects.

Fly-through Exhibit or Booth

An inter-active Fly-Through Experience enabling participants to sit in front of a camera, press the button “To Fly” and watch themselves, on the screen in front of them, taking a virtual ride through or across a specially filmed background.

We use the cutting-edge technology of a ChromaFlex glass beaded screen with a 3CCD video camera equipped with a green or blue LED liteRing, Chromakey keyer, video and audio playback from flash memory (or DVD), viewing screens, lighting and seating (designed to accommodate wheelchairs).

Designed to be either a freestanding booth or tailor made to fit a specific space.   Our service includes filming and editing the background images for the “Fly-Through”, set design and construction, installation of all equipment to provide a complete, low maintenance working exhibit which just needs to be switched on.

The range of applications for this exhibit are as broad as the imagination.

Talking Head Exhibit

The Talking Head figure is a realistic, life sized character in appropriate costume, who, by means of back projection, is able to talk creating a stunning effect.  The figure can be placed within a context or theatrical setting.  This is a technique which creates a very dramatic and unexpected experience and is an exciting way to present information.

An actor is selected who fits the requirements of the character.  The video of the actor’s face is rear projected into a specially cast mould of the actor’s face.  The whole figure is dressed in the required costume and placed in the setting which is constructed to incorporate the projection equipment.
