Anthony Abbott has been a journalist for 20 years. A trainee on the weekly free paper the Bedford Journal, he rose to the role of Chief Reporter following the paper’s takeover in 1986. Two years later, he moved to Northcliffe Newspaper’s largest provincial evening, the Leicester Mercury before joining the Plymouth Evening Herald in 1990 as Chief Reporter. He became News Editor before making the switch to the regional Sunday Independent also based in Plymouth.

After a spell in public relations, when he worked primarily for the South West Regional Development Agency in Cornwall, he was approached by the South West’s leading photographic agency Apex, based in Exeter in 2001. Stuart is pictured speaking live on National BBC Television News during the National Fuel dispute, one of many major incidents and events he media managed during his time with the Constabulary.

After several years working in the design dept at the BBC,   Suzanne then joined the then new Sky TV.  Seeing an opportunity to join the news room team Suzanne trained and worked behind the scenes. She progressed to presenting the news and other features also presenting Sky's technical information channel.

As a result of the link up with SKY and QVC, Suzanne became part of the team put together to set up the US shopping channel in the UK.  She presented for QVC both here and America for several years.

Suzanne headed west and became news anchor for Chanel One cable network for one year before taking up the position of GMTV news reader for Westcountry News. This has resulted in a permanent move to her native Devon, where she now freelances in mostly corporate work.
